Tap

Tap is sooooo much fun, it is also very challenging.  Tap has a multitude of styles, from the very traditional, to the ever popular Street Tap.  At Pegasus we believe that to be an accomplished 'tapper' you need to understand and experience as many of these styles as possible.  We start by teaching the basic tap technique, then tie it all together in routines that will introduce the students to the many different facets that make up 'Tap".

Kre8if Kids How old does my child need to be to start dancing?

Kre8if Kids is designed specifically for children between 3 and 5, it is a play based learning system and we touch on all styles of dance and musicality.  We use many different kinds of props and instruments and keep our classes 'up beat' and fun!

We do a lot of 'sneaky' teaching!  All the time that our youngest dancers are enjoying themselves and having fun, we are actually teaching them many of the base techniques that are used as they get older, such as feet positions and basic steps.   We also encourage the children to engage in some of the more subtle sides of dance like improvisation, remembering routines, and building their self-esteem and individuality.
